No, if they are accurate (I would have to see them, please) it still doesn't prove the UK is a lousy place to live. All in all, by statistical measure the UK is a pretty good place to live. Can you get it through your head that we need to look at broad groups of measures? The U.S. in terms of those, and there are several international agencies keeping them, so they are easy to review, has a lot of problems that keep it from being the "best" place to live for most people. The white rich people here are quite happy, I'm sure, as they are in most places. How a country treats its less fortunate citizens is certainly something to look at, and hunger has been increasing in America the last several years, for example.
