All theocrats are a threat to the US democracy, including rightwing Christians who want to take over the country. If you read "Salvation for Sale" about Pat Robertson you will plainly see their aim is to take over the country and turn it into a Taliban type government which dictates their close-minded, unrealistic and hypocritical brand of morality on the rest of us. Also don't think for a minute that some of the more extreme rightwing Christians can't turn into terrorists the way McVeigh did. when you believe doomsday is upon us and Christ is talking to you, you may be insane, but you are also dangerous and feel you have nothing to lose. Just like Islamic terrorists.
