"... bullying anyone in the AF who doesn't share their extremist brand of religion."

I haven't read this but I wouldn't be shocked to find that it were true. It would be great if we were in a paradise in which everyone treated each other with angelic care. But the non-paradise existence we share requires organization in society, and that can't be accomplished without leadership.

In order to exercise the power to rule society, a leader recognizes that he/she is imposing their will on others. To gain compliance under the rule of law often requires the imposition of authority over others. This does not, in and of itself, qualify the use of the term 'extremist'.

A leader is obligated to struggle according to the political platform that supported election, to move society in a particular direction. This, for an honorable leader, would be a terrible and humbling experience. For a corrupt leader it would be pleasurable. So be vigilant and cautious regarding our elected officials. Power, or the want of it, tends to have a corrupting influence; where as, those who weild power with noble humility are deserving of our admiration and support.
