There were a few Seattle stories about McDermott, but none got around to mentioning his ethics or legal problems. No stories the the first 109 from slate, msnbc, nbc, cbd, nyt, boston globe, etc.

Of course since these sources didn't mention it, it must not be a story. ROTFLMH


Huh? How do you think I knew he had to pay a big fine? Did you check the local papers back in Oct. 2004 when the judged ruled on the case? I didn't think so. You didn't even know that the judge ruled. You are like the guy who doesn't think a tree falling in an isolated forest makes any noise. You didn't read it so it didn't happen. If you read the mainstream rags, you would be more on top of what's happening in the world.

In any case, instead of trying to make McDermott look bad and insinuate that someone let him off the hook when that's not true......why don't you focus the lapses in the GOP. They are serious and worthy of your close attention.
