Amy, relative to 2004 and 2005, I don't consider the Apr 2005 options to be at a "stumble price".

P.S. Above excludes some long-term options during 2003 that don't vest until 2008 or maybe even 2009. Also the list only includes execs that received options in all 3 years.

re: - granting more options is fine, but since Intc is perceived to be at a stumble price, raise the grant price so it doesn't reward stumbling and doesn't encourage stumbling for a gain, but instead rewards for a good job.

Are you implying that the prices are getting artificially depressed? I doubt that intel would do that.

I have more of a problem with adjusting strike prices of granted options whenever the price is going down.

I also have a problem with expensing the options without clearly defining the economic value of those options.
