2006 is now the key, and relating to that are what if the economy bubble bursts, the war in Iraq grinds on without end, scandals surface, gas prices soar, you name it. Could be anything.

Delay is about to fall. Once that happens, you have no idea what to expect. The underlying corruption which could be exposed is immense.

Congress could change hands. So could the Senate. GOP moderates could openly rebel. Bush and/or Cheney could be impeached. All possible.

In 2008, the rightwing GOP is not in good shape in terms of candidates. Jeb and Frist are damaged goods, so that leaves the more moderate candidates. But will the rightwing support them? McCain is probably the strongest and might win. Hagel is a comer. Guliani is popular but may have skeletons galore in his closet, Romney is strong but won't get nominated, Pataki doesn't have a chance, Condi Rice is possibly a lesbian.

The Democrats on the other hand have at least four strong candidates besides Kerry and not including Hillary. Bayh, Richardson, Warner and Biden. Wes Clark, Edwards and a few others are also remotely possible. In the end, Dems will pick a man. In fact, Hillary might not even run. Why? Because she has high negatives.
