Yiwu tells me workers are so well fed and clothed and housed in china that they don't work unless they get the pay they want. I understand your point, but progress is going to shift up the pyramid of maslow's hiearchy - that bottom rung of food and house is just not gonna have the same level of importance in the future as it did in the past - it will be a non concern - like polio - or either she is lying to me and all the people over there in china are starving and naked. You really believe for all of man's eternity that gold will be our future of trade? I guess you read a lot more history while I watched a lot more scifi channel and thus the differing viewpoints. You wouldn't want to live within a few hundred feet or a mile of large MEAT bearing mastadons would you? Things change.
