Offshore hedge funds are not disclosing their returns or often the way they operate. They prefer to be under the radar. The key though, when we are discussing incentives for manipulation, is the huge fees that they charge. I'm one that believes that this has led and is integral with the issues of naked shorting, offshore manipulative arbitrage, etc., that have reached critical stages in the US equity markets.
