Absolutely a rightwing coup d'etat in progress and it's been going on since they went after Clinton's sex life. Step by step and very well-organized and syncked. If you're a rightwinger you don't want people to know -- I understand -- but what is at stake is real liberty, real freedom of speech, the liquidity of our government, the environment, peace vs. more wars, more reliance on oil not less, credible debate, credible elections, states rights, illegal immigration, SS and Medicare and the American middleclass. Eventually, if the rightwing have their way, will be some sort of quasi tyranny with our public wealth and lands privatized to rightwing cronies, and our military also in extremist corporate hands. We're already half-way there. And the rightwing couldn't have prayed for a more fortuitous event than 9-11 to help them fear and smeare their way forward.
