Laugh all you want. I know there are a lot of bad actors in this world, and the U.S. certainly isn't the worst of the bunch, but we should at least acknowledge our own misdeeds and try to make ammends for them. I can only affect the actions of my own countrymen.

I thought we might have learned a lesson or two from Viet Nam, but apparently not. We still go off and kill people half way around the world who are little or no threat to us. We have a pattern this is not good and any nation concerned with acting in a moral and civilized manner would work to change such policies, not implement them further each decaded.

You know who the real losers are? The American people. Every gun or military item that is produced is one less service or piece of infrastructure to be produced for the benefit of Americans at home. Also, we have a war in this country, called crime. While we're off sticking our noses in Iraq's business, criminals have declared war on us on the home front. Our priorities are way to external, and it's bad for all of us.
