See my post to LongandShort. I certainly don't think the U.S. is an evil empire, but we do have our own shortcomings that could be greatly improved. Besides, we all lose out when $300 Billion is spent in Iraq and not on America. NYC just had to push off the 2nd Ave subway project for another decade due to a lack of available funds, the money is going to Iraq. How insane is that?
