"Provincial relations have been a Liberal sore point in the past and Ottawa bashing has become routine. Martin appears to have favourably changed provincial disposition toward the federal government. The government is now listening and acts on what it hears."

I haven't noticed the premier of Ontario talking about how happy he is with the progress made in our relationship with the Fiberals in Ottawa. The federal Liberal ability to start something and leave others to pay for it is legendary. And it really is time someone started to call the vaunted Fiberal Surpluses what they really are Blatant Over Taxation, with no explanation......

"Martin promised to increase the size of the military and replace the aging Sea Kings. Two days following assuming leadership a request for proposals to supply new helicopters was initiated, a model selected and ordered. Something that Chrétien was unable to do over the last twelve years. Indeed in cancelling the original helicopter contract Chrétien served his own interests, not the national interest."

And NOT ONE Liberal had the nerve to say he was wrong in 12 years of mis-rule. People have died in the Sea Kings because of the gutless wimps in the Liberal Party. Now the Liberals including you are trying to say it was all Chretien's fault when it fact it was the fault of the Liberal Party and it's duly elected representatives who had a majority and could have done a far better job during their scandal ridden rule.... The Liberals make Mulroney a candidate for sainthood.
