I'm convinced Bush's faith is mostly an act. As I've researched evangelicals, I notice many of their buzz words like "evil-doers" are the words Bush chooses to use time and time again. He is pandering to them, but does he really believe what he's saying? Probably not. At least his father knows better, and I'm sure he does too. So basically, Bush is an opportunistic charlatan, like many money-grubbing con men evangelical televangelists.

Bush is only an evangelical for:

1. two decades of drunkeness, debauchery, bankruptcy, idiocy and general criminality totally and absolutely forgiven -- see how EASY it is if you're an 'evangelical?'

2. political purposes. He helped Poppy win by bringing in the idiot red staters to vote against their own financial self interests. Religion in politics = stupid, stupid, stupid.
