I bought originally Global Thermoelectric when it was under $1 because it was getting into fuel cells. Ballard was all the rage and I, over that whole period, kept saying that Ballard was a lousy investment. It was. GLE was taken over by Fuel Cell energy at about $3.80 cents per share in 2003. The price is still roughly the same as in 2003. Yes that was a mania as was Nortel and JDS Uniphase which was an even bigger mania.
Yes I've still got some Fuel Cell Energy shares and they are selling fuel cells.
