Totalitarian is evil be it Communist or Facist. Too bad so many are willing to embrace our own form of totalitarianism. One thing I have never understood about American "conservatives" is why are they do damn eager to embrace our own government, no matter how misguided and/or immoral its policies and actions might be (ends justify the means in their minds always). I thought "conservatives" were distrustful of government by nature. But, apparently not, as American totalitarianism is embraced. What exactly is the difference between a American statist and a Viet Namese statist or Iraqi statist? All support their government no matter what. I just don't get it, American conservatives, whatever that term actually means these days, are just so damn eager to be statist, to support and reguritate anything the government proposes. Conservatives of an earlier era would be sick to see what their statist later-day conservatives are embracing. Ruthless government power. You guys are probably the biggest socialists in America today, as you unquestionably support the government (collectist) and excessive spending on the military.
