You know I had friends that had triumphs and lotus 7's and all that lot and I loved riding in them - and I liked the cars - but when it came time to put down my money for my racing hobby, I needed some quality - so I got a used toyota MR2 with a suspension kit instead of the others in the same class.

I went by the lotus dealership in clearwater a few weeks back - they had some new ferarris and the new lotus elise - it is nice to look at - but I still believe in the law of diminishing returns and don't see it. Right now I don't own a track car - now is time to save money.

Kaultbaum said today we are in a bear market, and in that 3 out of 4 stocks go down so we need to have more shorts over the summer than longs. I believe him. He said maybe a small pop in june, but generally down after this week. Until the fall rally comes.

I believe SIRI has a greater chance of going to 2.50 in the next 3-6 months than GOOG does of going to 110 - please be careful Jay Chen. Coconut might use GOOG in the future right? Will she ever use SIRI?

These days I am a sales man and need a hard working car to do all that start and stop stuff around town. Not high miles, just lots of starting and stopping. I need a real reliable car.

So I bought me a 10 year old Nissan Sunny with 100K miles on the clock. Hardly run in. I bought it an auction for £512 all in and it is a beauty. Just one lady owner and garage maintained it's whole life with scarcely a speck of rust on it. I only found that out after I bought the car. No one ever smoked a cigarette in it and it's an excellent working machine. It drives like a brand new car.

I could just tell it was worth more then the £380 bid for it (the last bid before I decided to put my oar in)

The japs are maybe worthy of many bad sins but they helped the western world remember SPC and reliability. First class engineers imho.
