I guess you recall his beauty contest analogy; a contest in which you win if you guess which photograph will get the most votes in the contest. So you don't vote for what you like best, but what you think other peopple will like best.

But he was not always right. He was heavily invested at the crash (trying to anticipate anticipations, I guess) and also almost had to take delivery of a shipload of wheat and considered having it dumped in King's College Chapel, Cambridge.
