"I love Canada, I hate what the politicians are doing to it...."

I agree.

"The province gives the city and the region money for road repair. Roads are divided into 3 classes Good roads, fair roads and bad roads, and the money is allotted in accordance with the number of each that a community has. So that in order to keep the grants at their maximum, the city has to be very careful to keep the right number of good roads, fair roads and bad roads, because if the roads were all brought up to good condition the grant to repair roads would be decreased and the number of persons in the road repair department would be decreased and there would be no people and no money to repair the roads when they got to need repair. So in Niagara region they have a policy of repairing the worst roads while allowing the good roads to become fair roads and the fair roads to become bad roads so that there is constant funding and work for the road repair crew....."

Had to laugh at that, yuh gotta admit we Canuck's are resourceful. I have always been in the private sector, but I have had more than my fair share of dealing with politicians, of different parties btw..... they sicken me.

My point, if I really have one, is that your plan exchanges one set of crooks for another, perhaps even worse. Instead of just whining, wouldn't it be better to do something?

As previously stated, I made my MP, a cabinet minister, aware of my feelings on one subject. I think he knows me enough to take it seriously, but that doesn't mean he will listen. If he doesn't, I will do what I said.

SI is a great place to gripe, but it really will not solve our problems, and I just don't buy into blanket statements that all Liberals are bad, the same as I don't accept all Tories as being bad. Just not the Canadian way.

Anyway, I'm done for now, but have to comment, that I was also taking an exam in grade 10, when Kennedy was shot, a history exam to be exact, almost 38 years ago.

Don't let my short fuse get to you, I'd probably enjoy having a beer with you...then we could both gripe!

Cheers,
