Maybe not, although a 6 mile stretch of road that is so dangerous a company can charge, and get $35k is mind boggling.

It also shoots holes in your argument that this is a busy stretch of road so the US troops manning the checkpoints couldn't keep track of the traffic...

Your kidding? That's just one example and its a pretty horrific one.

The type of statement you get is that Iraq is going to hell in a hand basket, that the situation is horrible, getting worse, and totally hopeless. Nothing in your post shows that idea to be true.

Of course..........because it was just one example....taken together with other examples, things are generally bad. The country is flailing badly and we need to bring our troops home.
