I was not implying Berkley had a med school.
Just not interested in trying to format all email for every reader without the ability to jump from one sentence to the next without a guide dog.

As for patron añejo, you have certainly noted the diminished quality of ALL boutique tequilas since Jose Cuervo bought them out, maybe two -three years in the making, no? Patron, Centenario, the list goes on and on. I quit drinking Tequila because now there is no silver without undesirable aldehydes and other components injurious to my head. There is ONE new one on the markets, probably just for a spell until those casks are gone, it was selling for sixty bucks and about as good as Centenario used to be at 36 bucks. The Centenario bottle is now filled with something and called "Real" and is sort of talcum-like.

As for añejo, anytime the clear stuff is put into wood ( makes it caramel colour, helps mask defects, permits the more volatile distillate products to get out of the product ) it masks the distillate-garbage and helps it price-wise, not because of quality but because of markets.

Only a clear (silver) will tell you the truth behind a distilled spirit. Tasting is not usually a good method. Nose and evaporation on the palms (pour a few drops on the palms and rub them together, then nose the vapors) will tell you what you are consuming. Most consumers cannot tell the differences between products as they diminish in quality, whether it be alcohol, paper towels, kleenex or plastic bags. Lack of discriminating consumers permits the loss of good products.

Drink one for me, will you? thanks,
