I live on the edge of Austin, and so hear the Williamson County nuts at school meetings, sport events, and grocery stores. They are the most superstitious bunch you can imagine. A bunch of the evangelicals made a fuss at a school football game because the tickets, which have a number on them, just happened to have 666 in the number. They were refusing the take the tickets, so they opened a special line for them to go in without having had to handle a tainted ticket. This 20 or 30% of retards is a main reason why americans can no longer compete in the technology arena.

Texas is filled with religious nuts, strippers with fake tits, beer-drinkers and greedy oilmen and politicians. It's also filled with a lot of great people who are not rightwing zealots.

Texas in general is both our greatest problem and a great pride. But lately it's just been our greatest problem. Remember, economically, what's good for Texas is bad for the rest of the country. So never elect a Texan president again. Both Bush and Johnson led us into quagmires.

Also remember, GW is not really a Texan. He's a preppy rich kid from Connecticut and Maine. A lot of his Texas act is just an act.
