Right-o. On top of everything else, red states have to be supported by blue states. Fundamentalism takes all the hard work of thinking independently out of one's life.

These nut cases need to be deprogrammed.

I think for too long the progressive community has taken a live and let live attitude toward the evangelicals (just as is taken with flying saucer nuts). The trouble is the evangelicals will not reciprocate and insist on trying to destroy all social norms but their own minority views. I think they have tested the limits of tolerance.
