AV, anyone with the slightest knowledge of statistics would know that there's a distribution of intelligence in any given population and at the top end, there will be a few championship types. That applies to Moslems as well as everyone else. Finding those few examples of Moslems who have escaped the clutches of the mindless jihadist mantras doesn't demonstrate anything that some people can escape things. The culture which produced you example wasn't Moslem culture, it was his family culture and his education in the USA was definitely not Moslem culture. Re those Griffe du Lion links, you can read and understand if you want to. If you don't want to, you can suit yourself. You obviously missed the scientific basis, for example, intelligence is related to the ability to create wealth. There's not much difficulty in that concept. That's why there are IQ tests used all over the place. Smart people are valuable people. Regarding races being different, surely you understand that there are large group differences in all sorts of genetics. That's why different groups look different for a start. That's also fully scientific. There are DNA studies now underway to track the human gene flows. An example of racial differences is the rate of melanoma. You will get bored silly looking for melanoma in melanin-rich people, but the melanin-deficient in sunny Auckland, with a very clear sky, get world-record levels of melanoma. There are also intelligence differences. The melanin-rich in the USA for example have a lower average IQ than do the melanin-deficient. Those are scientific facts. What's the word you are thinking of to describe differences in race? I'm not much good at crosswords. Mqurice
