Dell always have specials on www.slickdeals.net and they sell 20-30K units of product in days when they do that - Laptops, PDA's, Monitors, did you see the recent review comparing the apple 800 dollar LCD to dells 350 one? They were identical.

Americans are satiated, but what of foreign spear chuckers who ready to get online and play deathmatch - can dell penetrate the foreign markets? All those new unemployed in Europe - better to get them on the computer and let them play deathmatch or chat it up on SI than run the streets killing from boredom no? All those latin people who used to play cricket for fun can get a computer still and get plugged in no? Or will dell not be the low cost leader to these foreign markets that still have much to grow in the 3rd world? I know my friends in Russia a few years ago were very happy for the commodore 64 I donated to them, they played Bards Tale all day - better than sitting out in the cold making snowman. They still need fast laptop to get on the net and daytrade no? There just seems to still be a LOT of people that haven't gotten a computer yet - 7 billion now. All this is academic though according to the chartists - only the charts matter - I tend to agree. It has broke the 200 and 50 MA and they say don't buy back in until it breaks above those.

Energyplay Re: "first days of the month". I printed this post and taped it to the wall to help me remember the markets "monthly cycle". Thanks
