"Texas has low tax rates and it's infrastructure is falling apart faster than Californias."

Well, it was in better shape until Smirk decided we needed a tax cut...

Bottom line: CA doesn't have low tax rates.

Texas has low tax rates and it's infrastructure is falling apart faster than Californias.

Well, you are in the heart of GOP land. I am not surprised. Just so you know there are places that act more rationally and logically when it comes to gov't spending.....consequently, things tend to work better. Great example is MN.

Having said that, WA state just passed a 10 cent tax on gas to be implemented over the next 5 years. Not only does their timing stink but they have gone too many times to the well when it comes to taxing cars, cigarettes and liquor. I would not be surprised if there is a tax revolt now in this state.
