Our property taxes on a big house with two detached buildings on 3 acres of land are waaaay cheaper than what my brother pays on a row house in Philadelphia. I thought it was pretty funny when the bible thumpers got their way in South Carolina and got video poker games outlawed and the property taxes skyrocketed to make up for the loss of tax revenue. The same thing will happen when they outlaw smoking. I can't wait. I'll make a FORTUNE!!!! (And it will all be tax free!) I'll let you people foot the bill. HA HA HA HA HA!
