I don't see where Franken was lying about anything. Why is the rightwing ignoring the gross corruption and ripoffs of Halliburton, the lies about WMD's, Abu Graib and a hundred other stinking scandals and failures? We all support the troops. They did not make the policy decisions. They are just doing their jobs. Franken has a long record of spending time entertaining the troops with the USO. Are you saying only rightwing ideologues should be allowed to support our troops? Case in point: While Bush slashed veterans benefits when he came to power, John Kerry is the one who championed the Veteran's Bill Of Rights which treats veterans and their families like valuable citizens.
