It's codifying POWER by our hand. It's preventing some, by Bremmer's laws, from joining in the government and giving a boost to others by providing them with legitimacy and cash for campaigning.

Republicans here had fits when Europeans had opinions, just opinions, about Bush.

Those whom we allowed into the government will be making the laws of the land. Since people complained that they didn't even know WHO or WHAT (platforms? what platforms?) they were voting for in the last election, what about that is fair or right?

Saddam held elections. The Saudis have held elections. Egypt holds elections. Florida holds elections. So what?

Elections are not democracy. FAIR elections are democracy and only a part of democracy at that.
