I remember Paul Allen doing similar investments about 10 years ago, except everything he got involved in plummeted in value. I was a holder of Broderbund when he got involved, and I should have used that as my exit cue, <g>

Kerkorian made me a bundle today. Talk about a Knight in shining armor. He has experience with Chrysler doing the same thing if I recall. Let's see what he can do with GM.
Some much fat in these companies I suspect it's not too hard to find something to cut.
