I doubt if it will be going up appreciably tomorrow or the next day either. <g> Any positive pop is likely to be event driven. How does one value a company bleeding red ink this way? I came away from that CC without a clue as to what to expect for revenue or (negative) earnings in Q2. I guess we'll have to see if Loudeye's new as of Q1 CEO Mike Brochu (51) and his new CFO, Ron Stevens (41) who worked for him as CFO at Primus Knowledge Solutions in his prior life, add anything to the picture during this quarter. Best I can say about that duo is that after listening to Mike on two CC's and watched him on one videocast, that he is articulate, presentable, has good body language and is suitably low hype. Beyond that, I dunno ... While I suppose a reorg is possible, essentially they have significantly recently reorganized management or at least started to), and restructured their purchase so I think their may be a possibility the broker you referenced might have been referring to one or the other or both. Alternatively The new organization might be still too soft to have presented it partially yesterday afternoon. Mike just came on board in February (although he was on the board) and brought Ron on in early March. Larry Madden (40) formerly Loudeye's CFO and EVP was 'promoted' to head Loudeye's music store business and oversee its media industry relationships globally as President, digital media solutions at that time. Essentially, if I read that correctly OD2 was folded in and he takes over that new responsibility for the combined Loudeye and OD2 MusicStores. Mike might have him undo or redo some changes made with the OD2 upper management in January. Perhaps we should give Mike and Ron one more quarter to get their act together. ... One. ... Not Two! <ggg> Best, - Eric -
