You are so hung up on infant mortality. Perhaps you could let us all know why the greatest country in the world has a higher infant mortality rate than inferior countries like Japan and France.

You know, Guam came up in someone's statistics on this thread, and I got interested in Guam and started reading up on it. Then I was sitting in my office, and the janitor came in, and it turns out he is from Guam, and he was the most interesting guy, and we started chatting about Guam. He has 7 brothers still living in Guam. He said it was fantastic. I'm going to have to read more about it- but I was really impressed by the statistics I saw on health and aging. During our talk he said "Boy, you sure know a lot about Guam." And I said "Hey, EVERYONE's talking about Guam!" :-)
