Every single major rightwing leader avoided combat. Boy do they hate to hear that. Which is why they smear every war hero who runs against one of them. Three Silver Star winners in a row smeared by Rove-Bush and friends. And they are still at it even though every single claim they made is now a proven bald-faced lie. Their favorite one I proved today was BS. Kerry really was in or on the border of Cambodia on or almost on Christmas day 1968. But will we ever hear 500,000 rightwinger liars apologize to our war hero senator? Never. They hate him BECAUSE he is a war hero.
