No on is doing any seizing. The Iraqi government does and will continue to own and control the oil.

Just understand......current oil prices are escalating not because demand is so great....its because there is not enough supply.

Supply is normally only considered great or small relative to demand. I suppose you are making this statement relative to recent levels of supply and demand. In that case supply has not undergone a strong decrease, while demand has been increasing, esp. from China and India. Also speculation and fears and uncertainties brought out by the war in Iraq also play a role.
