Where are the freedom-from-gov't Republicans and Libertarians anyway? Inside an Iraqi appropriations bill, they've hidden a national ID card plan.

Yep, now the government can stop you anywhere and demand your 'papers' and pretend they're in Hitler's Germany. Didn't we win that war? It sure looks like we're losing it again.

I wonder if you have to carry your 'papers' when you walk down the street or if you're just standing in your garden.
