That should make you very proud. It is one thing for us to think our children and grandchildren are the best for someone else to mention it without being asked, it is a double reward.

When we took our cruise, my daughter and I had the late seating and at our table was an another older retired couple. At the table next to ours was a husband, wife and their six children. We found out later in the week they were aged 3 to 18 years....The first night, our table all sort of rolled our eyes and waited for the storm that never hit. After a week of sitting next to this wonderful family, I had to tell the parents what fantastic children they had and it had been a pleasure to be seated next to them the week of our cruise.

We never had a chance to visit much but as it happened, after the cruise, some of her children and I were standing by the curb with our luggage waiting for her husband and in my case, Missy to come pick us up.

We started chatting and I found out her husband was a minister and they were taking a two month vacation for the first time in many many years. She said she was PG every three years, and this was the first time she had a three year old and wasn't PG... I also found out she had two more children, one son married and a daughter in college...

I told her she had the most amazing family I'd ever seen and they were to be congratulated on what a wonderful job they had done raising their children...One of her daughters (about 12 or 13) who was listening to our conversation, told me "thank you!"...I had to laugh she was so cute, and I guess she thought she helped in the upbringing also..

The mother and father who were both very attractive and looked very young were always smiling. I couldn't get over her marvelous figure...I guess chasing after that many kids will do it..

The mother said after the first two children they settled down and decided the children didn't have to be super achievers...still, after watching the family, I'm sure they all were.

I only wish I'd thought to get their name and address so I could have written them a note to tell them how impressed everyone around them at dinner had become with their family.

Anyhow, I've rambled on, but as you can tell a family of that caliber doesn't come along often and we were thrilled to sit next to them.
