I see that Sweden moved up to 7 in this week coaches poll. I was going to pick the U.S. in the fantasy league but they wanted to much for it so I picked up Argentina on the cheap.

Most people do not believe the U.S. is the greatest country on earth. By any reasonable standard, it is in the top tier of industrialized nations in overall standard of living, but not anywhere near the top. I suppose most Republicans, particularly evangelicals, believe it is the best country on earth, but that is a very small minority of actual people in the world. Many Democrats are wondering if it is a very good country at all, even though most of them love it in some way. And on the world stage, it is a thoroughly reviled country by many of the earth's citizens.
