Ish, At that rate of calls, there is not a lot for you to worry about. I know we were trained by our parents to answer every call that comes in on the phone, but I have learned that is not always the wisest way to go these days. We figure that if the caller has something important to say, they will call back at a time that is more convenient for us.

I only get 3-4 calls a year

Lucky you, I get a couple a day here in Aus, but thats nothing compared to my days in Pottstown, PA.
