I have went back and forth with the finance professionals at pkarchive BBS about the efficient market hypothesis posting many academic papers for it and some against it - I think it is a bunch of crap if you ask me - because I know a lot of rednecks in ga that BUY WWE no matter what and buy GM cars on credit no matter how inverted they get on the loan, efficient markets require efficient people acting in it - but when you have a bunch of little ants doing self harm and making destructive personal decisions - that has to filter up to the hive as a negative from the macro level.

The borg was FINE in star trek until that individual BORG hugh introduced new memes into the collective - it collapsed the hive.

I know too many people like my sisters that are gonna party til they puke and will never stop acting irrationally in purchasing or monetary decisions - they are gonna rob, cheat, lie, and steal anyway they can to get that next new pair of 600 dollar jeans while they toss the 1 week old pair to the salvation army. That is not an efficient individual, and a collective of those do not make for an efficient market - or am I confused again? hehe
