I have listened at both savage and dr. laura, they are entertaining, but I have only listened to thier shows maybe 5 or 10 times, I was on a drive to the beach and turned them on. I listen to the stock guys and computer america shows - nothing else really interests me. With wimax and 3g why should I use HD radio or SIRI when I want to walk around the beach and listen to www.philsgang.com or www.winningonwallstreet.com who have live streaming over the web - I will be able to listen to those through my phone no? Verizon will have EVDO for what 80 bucks a month - seattle is putting WIMAX on top of the space needle - carry around a few cellphone batteries and your EVDO phone can give you all the live audio content you could ever imagine - satellite just can't compete for me in Tampa. I will have one device and for 80 bucks a month can chat here on it, take phone calls, do video conferencing and surf the net and listen at streaming audio, and even watch CNBC on it over the wireless web - satellite is sunk - I just don't see how it competes with that. I don't want to carry around my mega gadget phone and then a seperate SIRI walkman.
