Now that is good liberal thinking. :-) I some creep filth robber is prowling around my home while I and my family is asleep and I should wake up and have a gun handy I would use it to protect my family. And you? It is the kind of thinking indicated in your statement that IMO has encouraged those scum to invade homes and kill and terrorize innocent people. ....."Also, how many times do robbers and kids find your so called protection that you so brilliantly hidden? You know what happens then "..... I don't know. Tell me how many times. It has never happened to me nor anyone I have ever known that I am aware of. There has always been guns around my home and always been kids and NO problems and they are NEVER hidden. How many kids get injured by cars that are not theirs? how many innocent people get injured or killed by stolen cars....How many innocent people get killed by knives.....maybe we should spend a couple of more billion tax dollars and register all knives. How did you ever get to think in the way you do. It is always a fear of mine that people like you manage to get into a position of power within the government...I mean look at Canada now, to day, we must depend on our neighbour to the south to defend us if we ever were attacked in a serious way. Why? cuz IMO our fool leaders have given up our guns, have given up defence of our country. Yet many of us condemn the USA and their fire power. Because they are capable of defending themselves we condemn them. What would Canada have done if muslim terrorists had taken down the Parliament Buildings????? We would have asked our allies to the South if they could loan us a few guns and tanks and maybe a few helicopters or better still just let them defend us. You don't want to defend yourself that's fine but IMO the majority of Canadians will fight if need be as they always have when required.....But gees going to be hard to do with no guns.
