Shades, Your buddy Phil is full of it. I'm playing his 10;30 download and he is talking about a whole bunch of stocks, F,AIG,WMT,MMM,ABS ect. and he is claiming that "the gang" has a profit in all these stocks and to now "take half your profits" ect. All these stocks and more were his stocks alright, but you would have weeks ago been out of all of them on a loss if you had followed his siginals. He is slippery. Now he's jabbering away about making all this money on Albertson grocery stores (ABS). Yeah, right. that was one of his favorites last fall when I lost money on it in October at 23.68. Now he is saying that he was telling people to buy it at 19 something and to "take your profit". I guess he was saying buy it at 19...but he was ALSO saying buy it at 24, 23, 22 ect. and all the way down. Get the picture? Be careful with his stuff. He is funny as hell but dangerous.

About the credit cards, when Bush was first elected the very first action he took was to start the process of making it more dificult for the individual to get away from his credit card obligations. There was a big stink about the fact that the largest single contributor to Bush in 2000 was MBNA Bank (KRB). THis has been going on for a while and it is a good thing. If not, people you you and me pay for these slackers to default on their cards scott free.

Imagine, as it was when your crackhead buddy up in S. Georgia was riding around looking for dope burning up gas we were buying for it him, and we may have even been buying his dope also if he had figured out a way to put that on the card. Now its more difficult. <G>

Shades, My "Kaultbaum/Cramer-May Rally" portfolio has a gain of 0.25%, tiny but still a gain. Yesterday it showed a gain of 2.6% so I am definately going in the wrong direction. The bad part is that I have to leave town tomorrow morning so if the bottom falls out I won't be here to do anything about it. What the hell.
