I said starting then... the biggest bucks have been in the stretch from the last three years of Reagan's second term, through TODAY (Bush II's second term).

The problem is CURRENT and COMPOUNDING.

I know that *both* Parties contributed to the mess (over-spending, lying about the structural deficits, doling out pork to their supporters, etc.) but what are we going to do about it NOW?

You can 'assign' any name you want to the problem... but the *people in charge now* are the people responsible for the decisions of TODAY.
