Developer Perry was the funder of the smearvets. When the smearvets surfaced, leader O'Neill lied saying there was no connection whatsoever with the GOP and Bush campaign. Even though he worked for Nixon's dirty tricks meister Charles Colson who later confessed his sins in prison and apologized specifically to war hero John Kerry for lying about him. Now we find out Delay's money laundering operation he calls a foundation gave Perry a huge contract. I've heard numbers ranging from 6-26 million. Even if it's only six it's proof that the smearvets have been indirectly funded by Delay's organzation. If not, then it's some coincidence.
