But Wayne, they're nowhere near as baaaaad as the stuff Delay did. It doesn't matter that they did the same thing, it matters on how baaaaaad it was.

Delay's corruption is 100 times bigger than his nearest rival. The Republicans are now spinning that ethics can't be a "partisan political" matter but DElay and his followers are the ones who abused their power and made this a major issue.

If the GOP tries to whitewash Delay and blame Democrats the public will see through it.

To see DElay leading a religious service talking abouit "humility" today made me sick. He is only starting to feel humility because he's close to being busted for gross longterm corruption. Also, it's very unlikely he will be re-elected.
