Rightwing tolerance for lies may stem from rightwing religion. There in those evangelical churches, many preachers tell them "I speak for God and my way is the only way. Don't believe science or the nes or history or anyone else. If you question me you question God and you are damned. So give me money and the more you give, the more you will receive, for Jesus is coming back very soon and the world will end ". BS like that, so they get used to believing lies, contradictions, wild theories and religious fairy tales. The shocking thing that seems to have happened is that some 20 million evangelical voters (and others with IQ's less than 80) now see Bush and the GOP as "good" and Democrats (no mater how honest and virtuous) as evil. Even people who care about the environment and not Halliburton are "evil". Even people for peace and love (what Jesus actually stood for) are "evil". This may seem absurd, but to a degree it's happening. Just listen to Limbaugh and Hannity and you'll hear these ridiculous rightwingers telling those propaganda artist liars what great guys they are. Talking about the Iraq War as if it's an amazing success and we've punished the 9-11 attackers. They all sound brainwashed. And it's all good or evil to them. So maybe all connected to fundamentalist belief systems which means basically they're a bit insane because they believe in a reality which doesn't exist. The reality they believe is in strictly in their own minds. Scary huh? Well, time to wake these cretins up. A good shock will do it. Terri Schiavo almost worked. But what we really need is to take back congress, then investigate corrupt Bushies and prove to the public just what crooks and liars many of them are.
