RTS- I consider $14 a reasonable price to start buying AMAT
and to dollar cost average down from there.... I'd love to
see $12 AMAT or lower...because it would mean that there
is capitulation and that the institutions have lightened up
their extensive holdings of the stock. That would level the
playing field for the individual investor and represent an
excellent risk/reward environment for the little guy.

I wonder if AMAT is buying back large quantities of stock at
these levels or are they waiting for better pricing later
this year?

If AMAT announces a reorganization or restructuring of its
business units it will be a clue that they are adjusting
their operational model because of declining forward
visibility/predictability... In the past, when AMAT is laying
off, it has signaled a bottom and is a time to cherry pick,
because being one of the strongest they can hold out longer
than their peer equip mfg's.
