Etch, it would be nice if they gave some empirical evidence
to support their prediction. Just making a prediction out of
the blue without data or evidence to justify the position is
meaningless, IMO. On what basis does he make this call, and
does he include a deteriorating global economic situation as
part of his equation?

Love the headline, but where do they get their numbers? IC sales for 2004 were $213B.....

Total IC revenues were originally expected to fall by 2.7 percent this year, from $178.6 billion in 2004 to $173.8 billion in 2005, according to IC Knowledge (Georgetown, Mass.) in January..
