At best, Clinton was an idiot to sign off on Carter's plan, or at worst, Clinton was an idiot to come up with the plan himself.... Steve, you won't believe this but I sincerely hoped I was wrong here somewhere so Ted and his buddies could find a face saving exit... Those dem presidents at their worst are a danger to the nation! Currently a majority of the US voters seem to believe so as well. Taro

At best, Clinton was an idiot to sign off on Carter's plan, or at worst, Clinton was an idiot to come up with the plan himself.... Carter knew that Clinton did not like his plan so he went public with it before he got back to the states and presented as if it were a fait accompli.....one approved by Clinton. Clinton had no real choice but to go along with it. Carter is the idiot, not Clinton.
