Yes I am convinced of it like ridley scott was decades ago - the thing is you will probably have to know chinese to use a lot of the cutting edge stuff - already I find myself downloading japanese games to get the latest stuff for my game systems - play-asia.com

and korea and japan seems to come out with the latest cell phones and services and gadgets this past decade - even in a seriously deflating economy. I am all for thier progress, I just don't want to learn asian languages to stay on the cutting edge. I don't really have the time to learn a whole new language. The machines of the near future should be great translators though so maybe we won't have too.
