US Filibuster must be the funniest for some 10,000 years. Sorry, 100 million years, considering the latest stem-cell research. (OK, I know it got really badly from the very start)

Overturning the filibuster would be a big mistake for the Republicans. They are coming off more and more as wanting to make radical changes in our government, not as conservatives. They already have the President, the House, Senate majority, and the Supreme Court - now that want it all, by eliminating any Democratic dissent in the Senate, and overturning a 200 year tradition. They are dangerous, and should be stopped. If they do this, it will come back to haunt them, as people see what they are really trying to do: * Dismantle the New Deal, and overthrow the US government that we grew up in. >> Break the Filibuster Democrats are looking to the Constitution to preserve the judicial filibuster; the Constitution isn't on their side.
